Weather for Friday night

The dry weather we have had for the last couple of days is set to end tomorrow with more rain due to sweep in and keep things wet for the next few days.

Friday is supposed to reach 19 on Friday with clearing showers, so not ideal conditions for football.

At the very least - We have some recent winning form in the wet. But a dry track for our attacking game would be much better.

ANZ was already looking pretty heavy in the centre last weekend. It will be really heavy tonight. Gareth and Flano to have blinders in the conditions.
The bye the following week couldn't come at a better time as i think we'd be flat if we had to back up

Its not like they are playing on a ground with a cricket pitch in the middle that has turned into a bog like the old bear park. The ground will be wet and a little slippery but over all should be pretty good. Just make our raids down a narrow blind side a non percentage play!

Maybe they should do that with the middle of the ground and turn it into a bog-a-thon. Give the players some old school love !!

By the way, with the form Heino & Ellis are in we may be ok if it descends into an old school grind

It might help slightly if they cut the grass after last week, it was looking pretty long and would have added to the field being slow and heavy.

Just wondering if the Toyota Cup game may be shifted. The centre corridor of the field began to look a little worse for wear last sunday afternoon. A bit of sun would've softened it up and now the downpour. Should help our more mobile pack if anything.

Well it was pouring in Mulgoa this morning. It eased to nothing an hour ago and was moving eastward. Hopefully that means it should be gone soon
