Small turn out.

**Kevin Hammond announced his retirement.** At the end of April he will no longer be the Chairman and the General Manager of the magpies.

A very sad day.

Not one employee of the Wests Tigers showed up. Typical.

I wish to thank Kevin for the outstanding job he has done over the years.

He is a legend.

Sad day allright.Anytime I spoke with him he would only be to happy to help out.I hope his successor is as good and dedicated to the Mighty Magpies as Kevin was.

Disappointing no WestsTigers staff there.

Sad day for the magpies, don't know that they'll ever find anyone as passionate as Kevin to take over.

Love him or loathe him, he only had the maggies club, staff, supporters and players at heart.

Good luck for the future Kevin. You've earnt a break.

Well done

Sad day indeed…..

Poor effort from Wests Tigers too.....

Agree with previous poster....Thanks Kevin ...enjoy the break.....you have earnt it....

It sure was a shock. A few tears were shed in the room.

Kev was the right man at the right time and was really what the club needed.

Kev set the bar very high, we'll need an some one with the spring of an Olympian pole volter to get higher.

Again, thankyou Kevin.

Shock horror of the retirement a sad day it is indeed.
My best wishes for the future Kevin.
I thank you for the time and effort that you put into the club you will be hard to beet thats for sure.
Regards.

The Western Suburbs Magpies extend their sincere appreciation to outgoing Executive Chairman Kevin Hammond. Kevin has been a tireless worker for the Magpies in numerous roles, culminating with holding the dual roles of Club Chairman and General Manager for the last 5 years. Kevin’s passion for the Magpies and leadership has been an inspiration to all at Wests and the current strength of the club is due in no small part to his efforts.

Kevin retired on Friday the 30th of April. His last official duty at the club being to attend training and address the NSW Cup and SG Ball squads as they prepared for this weekend’s important clashes. Wests wish Kevin a happy retirement. Wests Director Andrew Waite replaces Kevin as Club General Manager from May 1st.

I was never a Hammond fan but surely it would have been just to include him in the official party for the opening of the redeveloped Campbelltown
