Galvin for mine. Has issues but gee he's coming along for a young player.
Seyfarth a close second. Always liked his commitment but he's adding dimensions to his game. Speaks volumes re attitude.

I voted Jahream. He took steps to show that he is our long term fullback & in the back half of the season I think his game improved dramatically !!! you really notice with Mason at FB how important Jahream is defensively.

I think he's gone backwards - Especially defensively....

last year, He was getting to everywhere to try stop tries...
This year, He's often not even in the final Frame.
Plenty of times I've seen not a lot of effort to get across in cover...

Recency is a wonderful thing.

Most improved over the course of the season? From last year to now? Over the last few weeks?

Staines last season was pretty ordinary. He is much better this season. But he's hardly the premier winger of the NRL. But he is certainly improved quite a lot on the whole body of his work.

Seyfarth has improved over the course of the season, particularly in the last couple of weeks. But was he much better at the start of the year?

Bula has missed a few weeks now through injury- but his numbers at the beginning of the season were outstanding. BUT- he started at a higher level than the other three options. Theoretically, it's harder for Bula to shine as much as last season simply because he was so good last year. But I would argue his numbers are significantly improved overall.

Pole looks like the guy that meets most of the overall criteria. That said, of all of the options, I think his weaknesses have been the most exposed as the year has gone on. His defence can be exploited, more than most players in the squad.

I see Seyfarth is leading however at this point. I wonder though, if it's because of his last 2 weeks or if people remember how outstanding he was early in the year? (sarcasm)

Sam Fainu? Or are you excluding rookies from this?
Admittedly has dropped off the perch a bit in the last month or so, but his growth from round 1 to now has been out of sight!
Seyfarth probably the pick of the 4 listed, reckon the other guys have been very consistent all year.

That's my vote, and reasoning, too.
I think Charlie will improve even more next year , I would try him in the centres as well as wing , him and Olam would be fairly solid , I really like his bring backs , he just heads straight back into the opposition, no fear , would love him where he can run off people like Luai and even Big Royce

Only picking guys who were here last year
