Now, I would've thought that with the impending "Watershed Season" that is upon us the people that are paid to look after the office and back of house duties for the Wests Tigers would have a multitude of work to do.
Marketing, memberships, merchandise, selling of corporate packages, ad space, media work, community work… the list is endless, and this is only the back of house staff - after the debacle of the Foundation Cup we all know how much work we have to do on the field too.
So, with all this work that they have to do, how are the Wests Tigers office staff spending their time?
Are they researching marketing ideas or implementing new processes to make our Corporate Partners investments more profitable?
Are they going out to watch opposition players/trials like Dessy Hasler was doing on Sunday at our game?
Are they doing all they can to increase revenue streams through increased membership or merchandise sales?
What are they doing to instill confidence in me for the upcoming season ahead?
I know what they are doing.
They are reading Wests Tigers forums.
Can you believe that? This is how they are spending their time in such an important year for the Tigers, they are reading what fans have to say on a website forums... What a joke. These are the people that are employed to drive the club forward and make it as successful as possible.
I've got a massive tip for any staff member of the Wests Tigers that may read this post.
TURN OFF THE FORUM AND GO OUT AND DRIVE REVENUE, INCREASE MEMBERSHIPS, GO OUT AND SPOT SOME TALENT TO BRING TO THE CLUB, GO OUT AND TEACH THE BOYS TO TACKLE, GO OUT AND TEACH SOME OF THE BOYS TO PLAY FOOTBALL - JUST DO ANYTHING BUT SIT ON YOUR KEISTERS AND READ INTERNET FORUMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
