Well the only way were are ever going to find out is by signing him. If he is over his injuries he may be another teddy, who I also remember had knee issues.

Not even close to a young teddy who had massive raps on him as a junior and NO injury concerns until after he debuted

I can still remember people laughing when I said after 5 NYC games he should be in the NRL side in 2012

I've never met him , but some I know have and they reckon he is one of the real nice guys ....forever helping charities all over Central Qld raising money

Calm down folks. Firstly from looking at his footage the guy has talent. Secondly let’s find out the actual $$ and the roster spot he is taking up before we rubbish everybody involved - i read that he was on a “train and trial” contract and assume that is specifically because of his injuries.

I have no problem with this signing .... he’s still young, by all reports talented, not on big money contract and if he gets over his injury rehab is capable to provide solid backline cover.
So what’s there to loose?

I really like the signing. Coming out of 20s he was one of the hottest talents on the market but unfortunately has been injury prone since. Huge huge upside and if it doesn't work there is no huge $$ involved

Currently on a train-and-trial contract, Brad Abbey is also progressing well following ACL surgery with the Canberra Raiders during 2019 and is on track to return to full training in February next season.
