Wests Tigers - the friendly club?

All of our players are just so damn nice. Is this part of Sheens' plan somehow? Benji's a rolemodel, Beau's known for taking the piss, Fultzo and Gibbs with their shenanigans, Gareth Ellis and his mild-mannered private-school boy way, Big Keith is a little kid in a pro-wrestler's body, Woods is a ladykiller, and Lote is just an all-round nice guy

We've never had a Carney, or an SBW, or an Ennis, or a Sandow. Well we had Hopoate I guess, but let's never speak of that.

I can't think of a nicer team in the NRL, am I just biased?

Think it's because he's such an intense person.
Gets seriously unhappy and angry when we lose and doesn't suffer fools gladly.
He broods about things - and you can see it in his face.
You won't see too much backslapping or pats on his head if he makes a mistake - and if you do he just shrugs it off.
Personally , I like that.

We do currently have a lot of likeable guys in the current side, and alot have a bit of a media profile. The likes of Benji and Beau on the footy show, Fulton and Gibbs highly publicised antics. Im sure we are all a little biased tho.
The Newcastle side of the late 90's had a similar profile full of guys who are in the media alot (Johns boys, Chief, McDougall etc) as larrikans.

On exposed form there is very little to like about Ennis.

It just comes down to a perception that he isn't "one of the boys", or a grump. No one actually produces examples of why they dislike him.

At this point its probably easier to name clubs Taumata hasn't been associated with!

Robbie's a decent bloke. I'm sure if you'd got to know him he's not as serious as he looks. He's just really passionate and focused when it comes to his footy.

Really? Thought it was the opposite, actually. He is always _miles_ ahead in all the 'who should be NSW hooker' polls they have every year. I expect people wouldn't vote for him if they didn't like him.

Bulldogs fans wouldn't like him though because of the whole Farah v Ennis crap and the fact that he stuck with the Tigers and didn't want to play for them :laughing:
