Wests Tigers visited over 20 schools in the Southern Highlands area as part of the Club's Community Carnival on Monday.

The NRL squad promoted the NRL's community message 'Tackling Bullying' to thousands of youngsters in the regional district.

Wests Tigers forward Matt Bell visited two schools and spoke to Wests Tigers TV about the success of the program being run in conjunction with the NRL.

"It was great, they seemed to really enjoy it," said Bell.

"It's great to come out here to these small communities and get amongst it."

Bell was impressed by the attitudes of kids to improving attitudes to bullying, which have changed since his time at school.

"It was really good," said Bell. "The kids seemed to know a lot about it.'

"I think we got a really good message across there."

Wests Tigers will visit schools in Sydney's south west on Tuesday.
