How ironic that superman Hayne is put on report for knees to the head in a tackle to prevent a try - will be watching the judiciary with interest.

Will be interesting, worse than Gibbs offence, depends on the grading and if Bryce carried any carry over points, the NRL's credability is on the line

standard is 3 weeks

Not really, if u remember with Gibbs, he would have only missed 1 week if he pleaded guilty, and im sure Hayne wouldnt have the carry over points Gibbs does. Hopefully an early guilty plea will see him free to play. 😛ray:

Sirro, I think by Memory, which mime is pretty stuffed, Gibbs was going to get 2 weeks, but as he contested it, hence he got 3 weeks….maybe his carry over points had something to do with the 2 weeks

Spot on.

It's a joke if Hayne doesn't at least miss one week. If anything it was worse than Gibbs' incident as there was head contact last night.

Gibbs' suspension probably cost the tigers any chance of making the finals, and Hayne's suspension should make it very difficult for Parra to win the GF.

Gibbs was given a Grade 2 charge and challenged to have it down graded to a Grade 1 which woul dhave only carried a one match ban. Reading the ABC they say Hayne is reckoned to get just a Grade 1 and with no carry over points will escape suspension, whish would be a joke.

If Hayne is not given a Grade 2 the same as Gibbs this will just show the media pressue and bias.

I would like to see the grading, cause contact was made to the head , also if look at the picture on the tele website goodwin had already grounded the ball before any contact by hayne had occured. he had planty of time to pull out of the tackle
(dont forgot the nrl suspend cameron smith from last year grand final).

Pretty clear that he led with his knees.

It's a shame…but it's pretty clear.

If they let him off, Bryce Gibbs has a right to be pissed off a bit...but Luke Ricketson and Cameron Smith would have a right to be furious.

If he plays the GF, Gibbs should play Rnd 1 next year.

So it has begun, Hadley and the so called experts think Gibbs tackle was worse…there you go tell me there is no Media bias.

Do they even offer an explanation why? It would be good to hear it

No not really he was replying to an email as someone had said that Gibbs example had set a precedent but he disagreed as Gibbs had acarry over points, not sure why this makes a difference and that in his opinion Gibbs tackle was worse to which Blocker agreed and added he hopes Hayne gets off.
