There is no way any of us will get even close. As Mayer said in his Q&A, the salary cap is constantly shifting. We blooded 10 debutants last year - I assume nearly every single one of them would be on some sort of incentive based deal aligned to the number of NRL games they play. It would also feed into their 2014 contract - ie if you play 10 NRL games in 2013 you'll then earn $x in 2014.

As Mayer also said the previous administration front/back ended a lot of contracts. Makes it even harder to guess

Australian dollars.

I think you can be assured of that for every NRL player.

oh except georgie rose, they just hand out Krispy Kreme vouchers every week for him

Player 1: Hey, so i was just reading that Tigers forum. They had a thread discussing what salaries we're all on
Player 2: Oh yeah, what are you on?
Player 1: 600K
Player 2: What about me?
Player 1: 400
both player 1 and 2 laugh
Player 3: Hey, guys you wanna go for lunch?
Player 1: You can't really afford to go out for lunch mate you're only on the bare minimum. Sounds like you're better off bringing in a vegemite sandwich from home. Come on player 2, lets go out for lobsters.
Player 3: :bawling

I think it would be more fun to try and guess how much forum members are on…. And bonus points for guessing how much super they have set aside and then round 2 we could have a go at guessing assets and liabilities....... Now that could be interesting

the point of the exercise is?

The point of your response is?

The guy wants to start a discussion topic. If you have no interest, don't reply. To go out of your way to ask what the point is, clearly when you have no interest, tells me your life is so boring, its the best thing you have to do.
