Of course there'll be room to upgrade juniors and what not but I read something on another forum that made me think it's probably not the worst idea.
Couldn't we just not spend the full salary cap and instead direct the funds to paying Sheens out and starting completely afresh? We should be used to having a $750,000 a year hole in our salary cap by now anyway with the amount of injuries. Our youngsters will likely perform better anyway and by the time we can go back to spending the full cap it'll be just adding to a side used to playing at the top level but not at full cap, which could only be an improvement on what we do now.
Call me crazy if you want but it's not like we have money coming out of our ears anyway.
