I think he is an natural 5/8 that would be the best ever fill in we have if Benji is out for any reason. Can't see him at the tigers next year as he is too good a player to have in the reserves every week and Benji is the best 5/8 in the comp.

He's a running five-eighth, who can also play fullback and probably slot in the centres as well.
Not an organiser, more of an off the cuff style player like Benji. Don't think they would work as a halves pairing due to the similarities, but I think he'll end up being a great option to have on the bench.

i thought he might have got a run ahead of brown at fullback this week but maybe his fitness is not quite there yet. i really look forward to seeing him get a go in first grade

Importantly AJ seems to be really enjoying his football, is away from the media glare and gaining real match fitness.
The promotion will come, or a contract elsewhere for next year maybe if he keeps progressing
