Where has the "view new posts" link gone?

Hi all,

Since last week perhaps, my sidebar has transformed from a "view new posts" link to a summary that displays the 8 most recent posts.

With the old link, I could see every topic with a new post since I last viewed, but now the list is just 8 long. It's not very helpful, considering active topics may have several recent posts within those last 8.

I have looked all around for the old functionality, including the user control panel.

Any ideas, or has this just been removed?

It is actually on the Right Hand side half way down

Not on mine unfortunately. I am using IE 8.0.
My right panel has:
- "View new posts" which is just a listing of recent posts (not a link to all the posts, for example it currently has the 8 last posts from "Tigers team Rd 13"),
- "Who is online",
- "Birthdays"; and
- "Statistics"

I've tried it in Google Chrome too, same result.

There's no link to the new posts Jirskyr. Just the most recent 8 posts.

Can we put it back? I really don't want to have to trawl through each layer of the forum to see what topics are newly updated?

Yeh I agrree with Jirskyr if possible…there was 8 notifications for the one thread earlier - Tues team thread

Also could someone send me a test PM please, I had a few PMs I wasnt aware of, i didnt get a pop up alert but I think ive corrected it in my CP
