Interesting battle coming up:

Wests Tigers Most tries for the club:

All time top 2:
43 - Daniel Fitzhenry (119 games)
38 - Brett Hodgson (102)

Current players:
36 - Taniela Tuiaki (74)
36 - Benji Marshall (96)
34 - Chris Lawrence (59)
32 - Robbie Farah (109)

Who's going to get to 44 first?

For thr record I think Mr. Lawrence will get there first.

Although it's hard to go past Tuiaki in current form.

On current form Tuiaki will sneak in before Lawrence, but Lawrence has age on his side and will overhaul Tuiaki easily. 8 games left this season before finals so TNT is a genuine chance this season. He bagged a double against the Raiders in round 1 and I reckon he'll get at least 1 against them next Sunday. I'd love to see Lawrence get a try or 2 also.

Teriyaki for the win.

But think Lawrence will hold the record at the end of their respective careeers

Just to compare, the Dragons have been around for a similar time period, and here are some of their stats:

100 - Nathan Blacklock
90 - Matt Cooper
81 - Mark Gasnier
50 - Ben Hornby
47 - Trent Barrett

Though all of those guys played between 116 and 190 games.

Morris is closing fast with 35 trys in 52 matches.

I ran this poll at the start of the year. Don't think I even had Tuiaki as an option.

My pick then was Marshall, so I'll stick with that. Yes it is a longshot but I am loyal (or stubborn, or foolish, or… hmmm, better stop there).

Lawrence…..soft hands Benji in space please mate,.....

I hope Tui makes it first this year or better still they make it together......

True but they haven't won a Premiership. We have.

Shannon Galant is my man to take out the all time try scoring record if he stays with the club. Certainly not over the short term but over his career.

Tuiaki could do it this year, maybe even this week.

He's already broken a try-scoring record this year, why not make it two?

Although if Benji broke it this week, I think we'd all be very happy.

Marshall is almost within striking distance now. Any chance he could get a hat-trick against the bulldogs to tie with Fitzhenry?
