Bell and Humble have been the two top - Bell would probably be slightly ahead due to his consistency. Humble has been safe and had a great first game against Cronulla but hasn't really stood out in any other game since.

Reddy has not done anything of note and has missed a few games.

Blair. Well. Still waiting.

Out of the losses, I'd say it's equal between Lui, Dwyer and Gibbs. Each added a different element to the team. Lui was a great link between Farah and Benji - knew when to run and knew when to pass. Dwyer was a great edge runner and we've missed his impact close to the opposition line. Gibbs added that extra mongrel to the forward pack and was developing into a very mature prop forward. I don't rate Mckinnon as such a big loss because we had Tedesco ready to fill the void.

I think Alex hit it.
Humble and Bell are our best buys, however there is not one buy who I think has been Really good.

From what I have seen Reddy is the most useless buy. He just seems another safe winger without an X Factor, similar to Ryan and Brown. Give me a winger with some excitement any day.

In terms of who we are missing, a combination of Lui and Gibbs for vastly different reasons.

Looking at it like that We lost some great players and did pick up that much …... I just wonder how the salary cap works sometimes or we were over that far it was not funny.

Club also confirmed we upgraded some younger players contract in this time too. Its not just and in vs out scenario. It wasn't just "Gibbs/Fifita for Blair" as one certain Sharks player would like to believe.

Best has to be between Bell and Humble.

Bell has been exactly the sort of player we expected when we bought him, tough no nonsense toiler with experience, so very happy there.

Humble has come to the side at the right time, without injuries/form problems he would probably be stuck in reggies or on the bench. He has had a few shakey games but overall has been solid with the constant moving between positions.

Worst loss? Tough. Dwyers potential was huge (we had only just begun to see glimpses), Paytens experience was huge, Gibbs' defence and effort was huge. Cant decide.

I don't know what everyone expects from Blairy. He isnt going to score many tries or make 100 linebreaks. I must say his numbers are really down to the fact of the rest of us not playing well. I know the fans cant see it yet but his value to this squad is massive. Plus he comes from a culture of high intense defence. It's really hard to explain and I feel for Adam because the criticism of him at games is unfair and un tiger like.

Have to say I agree with this. Even with a off season under his belt, it's going to take a little longer to get adjusted to the adlib style of play from the heavily regimented system he was used to at Melbourne.

Bell has been a great buy and is filling the void Gibbs left. Lui has hurt us the most IMO.

Best buy Bell with humble a close 2nd

loss gibbs by a country mile with mason a close 2nd we had him then we didnt , blair will need a bit more time and could prove to be our best buy come semi final time , yes we will be there , and his experience will be a great bennifit to the team

Best buy John grant. He just needs to get a first grade spot. He could take moltzens spot at fullback
