Planning on being there at this stage. Does anyone know what time gates open and if it only U20s and 1st grade to be played on Sunday?

I'm going, but only to boo the coach and any player I dont like cos I paid for a ticket.

If we arent in front at half time I'm going home.

is it true that if you go to mcdonalds in the city or bondi area and buy a big mac that you get a free ticket to a roosters match?

I have to work this weekend, so I'll be IQing it and watching as soon as I can.

I will be there.

Remember that it is a Family Fun Day so family tickets will be good value and face painting and jumping castles to help you make more of a day of it with your children guys and girls

Got a link for that Smeg???

Im taking my young feller and he would love that!!!!

No link Simon. It was mentioned on NRL on Fox and I think it may be on the Chooks homepage as well

If it is like other Family Fun Days the NRL ran last year it will be there from Gates open to kick off or thereabouts mate

Will be there. Usually buy a general admission ticket - Roosters offer away members a discount (think it was $17 last year, instead of $23).
Will sit in Bay 10 - on the western side so in the shade and generally a little less crowded than Bay 16\. Bay 10 also has a quick exit out of the ground - the members entrance for Tigers home games.

Regarding NRL family fun day the SFS website says:

"Sunday afternoon league returns to the Sydney Football Stadium in spectacular fashion this weekend, when the reborn Sydney Roosters take on the entertainers, the Wests Tigers in their NRL round 2 clash, commencing 3.00pm.

Coming off first round wins, both teams will look to use their SFS home ground knowledge to take the points and maintain their 2010 season momentum.

There’ll be plenty of entertainment and activities off the field as well, with the afternoon dedicated to NRL Family Fun Day.

Enjoy a range of activities in the stadium forecourt before the game, including face painters, jumping castles, DJ, Healthy Harold van and mascot, Roosters mascot and cheerleader appearances.

Then to complete NRL Family Fun Day, the Sydney Roosters and SCG Trust encourage you to ‘Take to the Turf’ following the game, and re-enact the special moves of your favourite players on the magical SFS!

Don’t miss a second of the big game atmosphere this weekend.

Following the increased interest in NRL this year, the SFS experienced long ticket queues at the last event with nearly 5,000 fans queuing at the box office."
