Will anyone stand up against the top sides?

We need a player to ‘do a Turbo’ and consistently be our best on the pitch, inspiring his teammates with effort on effort, particularly when we play the leading sides. Yes tonight is ‘only a trial’ but it’s against a glamour club that has the wood on our club over a lengthy period. Who will be the guy tonight?

Would rather the entire team step up..

Champion Team en stuff..
Of course that will need to happen if we are to exceed most people’s expectations. I just feel that we need someone or a couple of guys to jump out of the ground which might inspire some confidence in the group. I didn’t name anyone as there’s no obvious player for me.

And then proceeded to crash and burn when games got important. Corey Thompson was consistently MVP that year.

I’m Voting for dain Laurie he’s always puts in 100%. Taking hit ups when he when he only weighs 80 kilos or so

Brave as last year. Second year syndrome a worry
I'm thinking opposite guys, being young he's going to benefit from another preseason.
We are all guessing though hey.
There's going to be a lot of Forum member with egg in their faces at the end if the season, me included!

Hope so. Doesn’t look to have a frame you can do that much with. Bit of bevan French about him I reckon.

Bevan wasn't a slouch, neither Preston Campbell, mate if you good enough your big enough.
Let's pray though, NO INJURIES TONIGHT!
Not knocking little guys (paps is another one) and I think he was by far and away our best last year (along with Stef). Just seen a lot of guys have a dip in form yr 2. Hope I am very wrong
