WINNING CONTROL OF RUCK VITAL SAYS FARAH

Hooker Robbie Farah says winning the control of the ruck will go a long way towards nullifying the dangerous Cameron Smith at Leichhardt Oval on Sunday.
Smith, the Queensland and Australian hooker, will go head to head with Farah for the first time this season.
Farah was 19th man for NSW Blues in Origin II on Wednesday night and says Smith is in great form at the moment at representative and club level.
“When your forwards go forward, it does make it a hooker’s job a lot easier. When the play the balls are slow and you can dominate that ruck, it does make your job hard,’’ Farah said.
“The challenge for us is to try and win that battle in the middle and that will cut down the amount of time Cameron does have.
“You know what you are coming up against when you play a side like Melbourne… Cameron Smith, Billy Slater, Cooper Cronk. Our work will be cut out. We are confident. It will be a tough game but it will be a good challenge for us.”
Last year's clash between the two sides at Leichhardt Oval attracted a crowd of more than 20,000 and strong ticket sales indicate another bumper crowd for a match expected to be played in fine weather.
Wests Tigers have won 6 of the past 7 matches played between the two clubs at Leichhardt Oval. It is the only Sunday game for Wests Tigers at Leichhardt this season.
All Junior League and/or school rugby league passes, along with yellow NRL season passes will be accepted to gain entry into the ground until 1pm (pending availability of tickets on match day)
From 1pm, children or adults with the Junior League, school rugby league passes, and yellow NRL season passes will not be able to gain entry with these passes. Entry will be via paid ticket only.
All reserved seating has been sold for the game and Wests Tigers encourage fans to purchase their tickets now.
