WTF Best Ever 17 Hooker...

Didn't Mescia give the game away early in his career to go back to the Family farm down Griffith way, perhaps if he had stayed on a few more years then we may not have seen the rise of Robbie Farah as soon as we did.

Think you might be thinking of Simon Bonetti, the roosters hooker.

Bonetti was one of the most underrated players of his era IMO

I'm surprised Happy didn't vote for Morris given his love affair with the bloke…

Despite everything , Robbie is still here

Can't say the same for Mr and Mrs Prince - Marshall

I'm not a big John Morris fan , but he is blamed for Sheens mistake

You can never accuse John Morris of ever tanking it at the WT's , he showed up every week

I've seen other Tigers players with more talent in their little finger than Morris tank week after week

I respect Morris for that

I agree Hap 100%…Im even tempted to pick him on the bench when the time comes....one thing you can say is that he always gave his all no matter what position he was picked in and never missed a game....

Robbie Mears was a damn good player, often overlooked due to the emergence of Farah.

Good honest player, but no star, was good value at 3 clubs without really nailing the starting role.

Didn't say he was a star, but very good nevertheless. Very underrated. We had quite a few guys in the early yrs who don't get the credit they deserve.

I was kind of backing you up, good honest footballer who did pretty well at 3 clubs.

Luani 100%

I hope you're joking Milko, because Luani isn't even a first grader!

Sarcasm detector might need repairs mate.

Yeah maybe, Sabre, but Luani actually has 3 votes registered, Iosefa 2! :crazy

One of those votes was me joking.
Luani is the worst hooker I have ever seen. Half the time he doesn't even get to dummy half in time and when he does it's 50/50 whether he remembers to pick up the ball.

Yeah I wasn't sure which player it was but Mescia didn't hang around long as a player!.

Mescia had neck issues. Retired young at 28-29\. Another very underrated player, unlucky to have played for an ordinary Maggies side. Great heart.
