I think Brisbane would rather play Manly. StGeorge Illawarra have only won 1 out of their last 5 games.

Agree, if it was the AFL system and they lost today, then they wouldve got another home final this week and would be playing one of the bottom 4 sides. Instead both of the bottom 4 sides that won on the weekend get a home final and the 2 top 4 sides that lost have to travel away, meaning a strong season with lots of good wins meaning nothing.

Ahh well, the Dragons choking today just made my day, and then seeing their fans leave the stadium early and having Manly eliminated was the icing on the cake.
We may see some whinging from Manly in the coming weeks about the system which may actually result in a change of system though!
