I'd be putting Lamar in for Lovett as he is only young and offers more in attack and I think more in defence. He is a better all round player than Lovett, just needs time in the game. With the year over this is the time to grade players for next season, I know he hasn't been killing it in state cup but he may raise to the occasion! Same as lodge they both need more game time at the top. Lamar is a much better hole runner than Lovett….

Why change a winning team if you do not have to

(1) Because Buchanan and Lovett are hopeless.
(2) Because there may be better options available e.g. if Tapau was available.
(3) Because it is foolish for anyone to rest on their laurels, even if they win. After a horror season there is zero room for complacency.
(4) It is prudent to consider changes for different opposition.
(5) One win in a row hardly makes us a "winning team". Having said that, even if we won the last 5 games in a row (and were thereby a "winning team" to some extent) Buchanan and Lovett are still massive liabilities and should not be in first grade.
