I don’t know about some of you but I’m very nervous as to what the next few weeks have in store for us.
Utai and Woods both saying they have no idea what’s going on on Twitter….
Axing of some players but not others…
I feel for the players. Easy for us to say “yeah it’s ok for Ryan to be pushed out” but I just don’t see it like that.
People were going on all year about if they were having performance issues at work they would be sacked but it’s entirely the opposite at WT so it seems.
It’s almost like they have crossed the line on an entirely new level (I know the Gibbs saga but it’s not quite the same).
It’s almost as though anything is possible at this stage.
I tweeted Wayne Cousins today but have not received a reply in regards to the club releasing some sort of statement as to what’s going on.
Players must be on a whole new level in terms of where they stand in the team and face as much of a nervous wait as us. It would kill me to know I’ve tried my guts out for this club and yet they tell me to look elsewhere.
I don’t think this is one of those things you can say is acceptable from the club no matter where you look at it.
If WT do something wrong it is giving people what they deserve and it begins with rewarding good seasons and treating the members with respect as well as not rewarding the underachievers or cutting pay.

It can only be one of 4 things
1. Tigers are in big salary cap trouble
2. Sheens is gone, and the new coach is pulling the strings
3. Sheens has survived but given the ultimatum to make big changes in order to survive.
4. We have signed 1 or 2 big names and need to make roomSadly I think option 1 or 3 are the most likely. Im all for change, the place is stale. However I genuinely fear for us next year. Morale must be at all time low, especially when you turf a player like Ryan. Straight off the back of back of Gibbs. Throw in Heighto and thats 3 loyal clubman showed the door it would seem in very brazen cricumstances. Sheens risks losing the dressing room completely if he has not already.
Things might become a bit clearer in the next 2 weeks and we might be saying, well that explains that. However if we sign no one else and are stuck with Sheens next year and a disenchanted squad, with fan numbers down it really could be crisis time. If we lose Farah next year i can see us being back to the old days, of being a non factor and battlers that no one wants to join for a decade.

I know this isn’t happening , but wouldn’t you laugh if they were swapping for Fifita and Gibbs back

Well that would prove what plenty on here have been screaming… The Club has No Idea!

Eddie, most likely it’s 1. Which is bizarre. We offered L Lewis $400k, he signed elsewhere and were still in trouble. How many would be released if he did actually sign. The actions of our Management are more alarming than our on field problems.

I think you’ll find all media managers are not in charge of a statement getting released… Yes Cuzzo would write it, but it would come from Stephen to as when… He prob didn’t tweet back as he can’t comment on things, CEO is in charge…

Theirs must be a lot of things going on behind the scenes that are only known by the coach CEO and maybe the board. From the outside looking in the place is a shambles but you would hope their is a plan.I just can’t believe we did not have the cap space for Ryan yet we resigned Lote?…
My guess Kite is a done deal and the talk about Lui might have some legs.Although my main concern is our ability to resign Farah has now probably gone out the window, let’s face it why should he show any loyalty after what the club has done over the past few days
-
I spoke to Gibbs a few months ago, jokingly asking him to come back. He replied with something along the lines of “not while that CEO is there”
I spoke with Damian Irvine last month about Gibbs & he said Gibbs will never return to the Tigers.

I just wonder what madness is around the corner
Thanks for tearing down everything this club stands for Sheens and Humpty
Robbie do yourself a favour and get out while you can

Hopefully this will dispell the rumour about Gibbs being cut to buy Blair!

It’s most likely Farah will be here next season, let’s hope he get’s resigned.
As for salary cap issues, we will most likely sign Kite, so that’s probably why players are getting cut on top of being over the cap before Kite gets here.
In my eyes it’s really just a big mess, this club is in shambles and the players’ have no idea. Wouldn’t be surprised if another coach was coming in and pulling the strings.

I asked Tuqiri yesterday what was going on and that I didn’t like the rumours and he replied. He said that he didn’t like them either and was as in the dark as everyone else.
Sounds like dark times at Concord.

Don’t know about the salary cap. The Tigers couldn’t have offered Luke Lewis a deal (that he was close to taking) if they were in salary cap drama. Unless they had planned to offload 7 or 8 players to get him. Interesting times.
