Fantastic to have a guy who you know can burn down the sideline. He can turn half opportunities into line breaks and tries. We have lacked that pace on the flanks for years. Thats very important when you don’t have a huge amount of pace in the team, to turn half opportunities into points. He is also now becoming a wreaking ball running with no fear, the muscle he has put on is notable. Of course he is still very green but it shows how valuable a player with genuine SPEED and AGGRESSION and bring to a side. I look at some of those players and they don’t with some of the fanatical desire this guy does.

He really looks the goods, he just needs to get his hands sorted out.

For mine he is an average footballer with 2 impressive assets…his blinding speed and his lack of fear. He puts his body on the line in attack and defense.

However his positional play is weak, he isnt a great anticipator or reader of play. He is always caught too far infield in defence with a winger far outside him. There has been 5 or 6 tries scored down his side of the field this year in 2 games. This has to be addressed. He also has average ball handling skills at present. Wingers arent renowned ball players, but most of them these days (minus big Manu), have a great set of hands.

He is well and truly worth presavering with as his assets are sorely needed at this club. The experienced boys must however work with him on these other features of his game. At the moment even though he is a weapon, he is targetted by opposition attacks. With a bit of tweaking through hard work, he can become a premier finisher…

By the end of the year he could well be top try scorer and top winger.

the advantage he has is that the things he’s bad at can be taught. The things he’s good at (pace and heart) you cannot be taught.

So, how hard is he going to work on his game and how good a learner is he? If he ticks both those boxes then in a season or so he will be unstoppable.

Remember what the guy has done vs the amount of FG. He’ll be the goods.

Still a baby in terms of his development, he is going to be ridiculously good.

He has good instincts, a couple of times hes made crucial decisions that have saved a try. But he is still incredibly raw and has a few errors that hurt.

Agree. The little things he does wrong will be fixed in a year or two with development. His line break in the second half when he carried Walsh for 5 metres before shrugging him off was pure strength and great to watch.

In penriths first try he made a great decision in defence to stay with ball carrier and then tackle simmons when he kicked it . he is working it out pretty quick

Count me as a huge fan of Koro.

One thing you can’t teach is speed and he has it in bucketloads. We need to get him more quality ball with a bit of space.

I didn’t even think he made the wrong call when he came in to belt the centre. Even I was surprised that Lawrence wasn’t able to cover the winger, and where was Moltzen there?

agreed… Bloody exciting to watch though!

I tell ya he’s fast enough to reel in almost any line break the opposition has made this year. I’d struggle to find anyone in the comp that can match him over 20-50 metres.

He has so many flaws in his game it isn’t funny but we are so much better with a genuine threat in the backline.
