I was very critical of him last week but thought he went well yesterday. I hope he keeps on improving and forms a good combination with Marshall at the scrum base. Hope his ankle(?) injury is not too bad.
+1. I’ve not seen anything of Miller in first grade that gave me a lot of hope until yesterday but he took a real step forward I thought. Taking the line on, kicking, taking responsibility in general - all positives. Not everything he did came off but if he’s going to be a first grader he has to start taking matters into his own hands and succeed or fail on his own merits. Shame about the injury - hopefully it won’t keep him out because he deserves the chance to build on what he did yesterday (and also if he’s fit we may be able to give Anasta the bullet).

Yes, it was a lot better and more like what I have been expecting.
The try didn’t surprise me, he scored with a similar attempt in one of the few 1st grade games he has played previously.
