When he did that quick bullet-like no look pass on the inside (sorry I forget who it was to).

The problem was the pass receiver didn’t then do a line break on Manly, but if things like that happen a lot (and STICK) we will be an attacking threat to other sides.

The problem is it doesn’t stick often enough. Part of this is Benji’s decision-making (I really hope he’s not past the point where he can be talked to about that and take advice on board), and part of it is Wests Tigers players still seem at times to just not be prepared for playing alongside Benji. They need to be aware that if they are in Benji’s proximity, they always need to be prepared for Benji to pass the ball to them. This came up last year, I hope it’s not a repeat this year.

It was to Tedesco and towards the end of the game. Fact is we Manly’s defence was pretty tight in the middle and we got monstered meaning there was no time or space to play a flowing game. Plus our main playmaker was yanked after 30 mins…

It looked great didn’t it! another piece of footage for the Benji highlight package.
The thing is knowing when to do it, the difference is if the storm use that move slater goes through if the cowboys use it Bowen goes through if the bunnies use it inglis goes through if manly use it Stewart goes through. Why? Our ball received did everything right he hit the ball at pace timed his run and ran the right angle. Cronk, Thurston, Sutton, Foran and many others in the NRL are better ball players than Benji that’s why. They can even do it while looking!!! it may not look as clever but it works.

            Marshall is beautiful to watch.
            Especially when he’s on song.

Thought his chip & chase attempt was great too, just unlucky not to get the bounce.

Definitely would of been better if he had someone at fullback to support that kick then they catch it. Just like Cronk/Slater
