Did everyone see the pre-game interview w/ coach Mick Potter ?
I think it was Freddy or Johnsy interviewing him and they asked something along the lines of,
“Koroibete is out, will Utai be replacing him?”
and the reply was something like “Yeah, you could say that…”Then the game kicks off, Reddy & Tedesco are both starting at wing.
Utai was in the dressing room, didn’t look injured at all like he was rumoured to be.I think we can all agree Utai is out of favour and will likely be cut loose at the end of the year…?
He’s been okay in the past but definitely one of the worst wingers in the comp this year, might have a bit of life left in him to be used in the super league but I, for one… won’t be upset when he gets released.
Thoughts?

I noticed him in the warm up just before that interview. Clearly not injured
-
put him in the forwards Demps
-
Sam Moa is a little guy who absolutely has been killing it in the forwards this year.
Not sure if Utai is the same calibre as him but definitely don’t want to see him on the wing ever again. -
Sam Moa is about 15 cm taller than Utai and does not drop the ball as much. I don’t think the idea of Utai in the forwards would work.
-
Could easily work, only issue would be the defence in the middle of the ruck
Running the ball though he’d be a weapon
-
Moa is 6 foot… Looks so much smaller on TV.
A lot of players are like that though, I thought BJ Leuliua(??) was small, saw him @ Subway the other day and he is huge. -
Obviously he wasn’t injured. I would love to know how much notice Tedesco was given.
Potter and his stupid mind games…Just pick the team and stick with it. -
What do you mean obviously he wasn’t injured -he has been out with a neck injury how do you tell from a distance if a neck injury has healed enough to play ? You sir are a medical genius if you can tell this and I think you need to jump of the forum and report to royal prince Alfred to help them out now

lol, yeah… he is “injured”.
he injured his neck looking into the air as a bomb was put up, then proceeded to not attempt to catch it, then watch it bounce… right in front of him.
… that was a week and a half ago.
that is the last time we saw little matty utai on the field.don’t believe every thing you read.
… matt utai, winger, 39 years old, “injured”. -

We seem to have had a big influx of unintelligent people recently.
Why was he warming up as the 18th Man if he was injured ?
