Did anyone else notice that Potter used 10 interchanges in about the 70th minute? What would happen if minutes late someone went down due to injury…

who cares. We were down by that many points we needed something to spark us, potter did what he could with an interchange. It’s pretty standard to use your last interchange around the 10 to go mark.

Yeah, all out i think. If someone goes down then we’d play with 12 for less than 10min, not the end of the world considering the scoreline.

Yes, I noticed the “error” Potter made with the interchange bench and the timing of the interchanges.
What he needs to do is pick three forwards (smaller ones, if possible) and one back. He MUST rotate the small forwards with the slightly bigger forwards in the starting thirteen, BUT HE MUST NOT put the back on until the last three minutes. -

The biggest error Potter made with the interchange was picking Iosefa. If he did not have a heavy forward available for the bench a fresh back would have been a much better replacement.

I think Ava would have struggled in those conditions. The idea with Iosefa was sound, just a shame the player doesn’t have the ptofessionalism to come on with good discipline. Two costly penalties…

I dont know how bringing Iosefa on was sound……he isnt half the player Farah is,and there is nothing he can do that Farah cant.
Farah himself said he wasnt tired.
Pulling yer captain/best player/playmaker/tackling machine off when the game is tight is far from sound…its downright madness.

I’m sure Potsy didnt factor in those incidents when he put Iosefa on….and I’d guess he’d have been thinking it would be still a tight scoreline when Robbie went back on fresh, hopefully being able to crack the win…

Look everyone can look back on decisions like potter with hindsight and criticise with EASE, especially a rookie coach. But I’m sure that if potter had come out and explained everything before the game there would be a lot less complaints about his tactic. It didn’t come off, sure. but lots of things do that you dont see or complain about.

Was only a few weeks ago everyone was wetting emselves over his bench
-
I wish I was half as clever as you coaching geniuses.

No need for hindsight……I was criticising him as it happened.
-
Well lucky for you, no one is there to criticise you when you play him 80min a game from now and origin then he tears his hamstring or has stress fractures in round 22 when we are 8th on the table and proceed to lose every game from there.
-
Well let’s rest him for 70 mins s game……don’t wanna injure him.that’s more important than winning games.
