Mate calls me up after hearing something on the radio about the tiges looking at Mose Masoe.
Now sure what the story was but he’s not getting a run at Penrith for some reason so why don’t we look at him? I know they just signed him up, but the nature of sport these days, that doesn’t mean too much. He is only young and is a beast and would give us a bit of mongrel…

I always hoped we signed him, but then penrith got in.
Would be tough bench player, used in 15 min stints.Posted using RoarFEED 2013

No thanks, would rather Rose, and he would be cheaper.

Would rather get Aiden Guerra from Roosters.
Playing NSW Cup at Newtown right now. Tackles hard, runs hard, and runs intelligent lines.
Compare that to our current back row. -

Compare that to our current back row.Yep, we fought hard for him last year but the roosters signed him up on good money. As for Mose wouldn’t mind him at all, prefer him over Rose.

They are stacked for forwards. i live in hope he will crack it and want out.

Would be weird given he was released and joined Panthers last off season? Maybe he isn’t a hard trainer or not showing enough hunger?
Massive bloke though.

As long as we sign a a few props and they will come cheap mabe we can sign 2 props for this year.
-
He has put on some serious bulk in the off season.
Sadly it is more my kind of bulk then footballers bulk

Yeah I bought one of those dodgy mirrors as well Smeg
Glen’s idea of Aiden Guerra is a good one
Could then play Blair as prop until the big boppers return

Why BM96 ?? Blair has played prop for NZ and can play serious minutes doing it You could rotate Woods , Buchanan,Bell,Seamanufangai more often and use Pettybourne as a high impact second rower we need our forwards to have as much impact as possible
When was the last time a Tigers second rower ran for a 100+ metres that didn’t include a 50-60 metre solo run ??
-
I think Pettybournes most effective game was those 20 minutes at impact prop v the Panthers so it may be worth considering.

Blairs move to lock was great IMO and I think he should stay there and as Smeg mentioned.
-
No real difference playing lock or prop in the modern game both play tight in defence and it is up to the coach how the lock plays in attack
Still think Pettybourne would be more effective in the back row getting him to run at 6’s and 7’s and then trying to get him to offload or break the line
