Two players selected in NSW U18s

Wests Tigers players Rhys Armstrong (pictured) and Fosio Tatola have been selected in the NSW U18s side.

The match against the QLD Under 18 team will be played at Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday, June 26, prior to Game Two of the Holden State of Origin series.

The NSW U18 team will be coached by Wests Tigers Holden Cup Coach Todd Payten, his first coaching representative honour after leading the club to its inaugural NYC premiership last season.

Wests Tigers NYC Strength and Conditioning Coach Balin Cupples is the NSW U18s Assistant Coach.

Congrats to Armstrong and Tatola on their selection. It would have been interesting to see if Salesi Funaki was selected if he wasn’t injured. He was still eligiible for SG Ball this year but has spent all season with the NYC squad given his size and ability.
