Wests Tigers and Krispy Kreme are excited to announce a new commercial partnership.
Krispy Kreme’s logo will appear on the back of the Wests Tigers playing shorts for the remainder of 2013 after supporting the club for a number of years.
Krispy Kreme will also work closely with Wests Tigers to run exciting initiatives across the Club’s Digital platforms, including the Krispy Kreme Man of the Match poll, which will run for the first time after this weekend’s Round 16 match v Melbourne Storm.
Krispy Kreme have shown that they are very much a community based organisation and believe in supporting local sport in our combined catchment area of Western Sydney through fundraising and event delivery.
Krispy Kreme hopes to work with the Wests Tigers to expand this relationship across affiliated junior clubs.
Krispy Kreme CEO Andrew McGuigan is looking forward to working with the Wests Tigers.
“Krispy Kreme has been a proud supporter of rugby league in Western Sydney since we opened our first store way back in 2003,” said McGuigan.
“The Wests Tigers are an important part of Sydney’s fabric both on and off the field.
“We are looking forward to working with the club to execute on a number of exciting initiatives off the field to strengthen our involvement with the Wests Tigers community.
“Given the Wests Tigers strong digital assets and community involvement, we believe that there is great value in partnering with the club.”
Wests Tigers Chief Operating Officer Grant Mayer was delighted to expand the partnership with Krispy Kreme.
“For Krispy Kreme to expand their relationship with the club is exceptionally pleasing, we have grand visions of working together on a community engagement program.” Mayer said.
“We are thrilled to have them on board.”

Krispy Kreme donuts on fat buttocks? seems about right

  • Doughnuts should have sponsorship rights over the front of the playing shorts. Krispy Kreme just have no balls.

  • Pitty the donut man himself wasn’t,t still here.

  • Does this mean we are signing up George Rose. Do doughnuts count under the salary cap?

  • Krispy Kremes at LO? Yum!

  • The sponsorship is appropriate as they have a lot in common with our defence. Holes in the middle……

not to mention soft around the edges

  • This is crap.

We should’ve moved on from this sort of garbage by now. A billion dollar NRL deal and we have a donut shop on our shorts?? We expect our players to wear the Tigers Colours with pride but the Club will stick anyone’s stupid logo on it for a pittance.

  • Well in fairness they are not just any donut store.

They are a multi billion dollar concern worldwide and would probably be safer to travel in then a Hyundai in a accident

Multi Billion?? Maybe not that big. Its not like they’re on the Dow Jones Industrial Average….

Each year we look more and more like racing car drivers. Does anyone know how much we actually get from Jersey Sponsorship??

  • In turnover it is in the billions, straight profit no.

The NRL has to build a war chest, support junior league and country league.

The clubs won’t see a great deal of genuine benefit until we get the next TV rights deal

  • Do Members get any benifits?

    I love these!!!

  • What we need now is a sponsorship from KFC.

400million is pretty good! i’m sure they woulda had to pay a premium being a….non-fitness related entity 😆

Similar to maccas sponsering the olympics.
