With the rubbish that is being dished up in the media and the board have you as a supporter of the Weststigers finally accepted the Weststigers as your team/ club and finally broken the shackles of the past ….Magpies / Balmain.
My vote YES. -

Its easy to say for ones self.
I’d like others to offer their opinion based on my posts if they think I have.
I’d like to think I have.I read many posts of many here and I think many havent.

I think ink has not accepted/accepted the WTs -
100% WT
Somehow I still get riled up over factional BS though. I don’t know why but it still gives me the irrits.
Maybe if we had a board that served the interest of WT it wouldn’t be a big deal

Yes

We should always respect the tradition of the foundation clubs, but what is happening at board level is most confusing. To have the controlling body of a business (ie Wests Tigers) not actually having it’s main concern being that of the actual business is ridiculous. Get a board whose number one priority is Wests Tigers, not the Magpies or Balmain.
And to answer the question…Yep.

I have fully embraced the WT’s but if I had the chance to do a Souths and go for a few years in the wilderness in order to be brought back as the stand-alone heritage club then I would do it.

That’s an interesting thought experiment for a Wests Tigers fan isn’t it? Would you rather see your old club play first grade as Balmain or Wests? I can honestly say that despite being a Balmain kid and loving the hill at Leichardt, I’ve got too much affection for the Wests half to want it split now. I want to see us hold on to our history, I love seeing fans in their old Philips and Victa jumpers, I love that we play matches at Leichardt and Campbeltown but I think Wests Tigers is a great brand and good for the game. All we need is to send some lads around to have a word with the board members. One at a time. In the carpark.

WT for me.
If they are forced to merge again/relocate/hand in their license, I’ll be done with Rugby League for good.
As for the board:
-
Yes - it’s Wests Tigers.
Not a Western Suburbs V Balmain but this team will do type attitude.
You are either all in or you are not wanted. If the idiots in charge could pull their head from their butts, they could see that the possibilities are endless, not many other teams get a shot at controlling two areas… -
Yes, Wests Tigers for sure a new beginning that still has the charm of the past, thinking of football only not politics.

I forgot to add that despite being dragged kicking and screaming, Ink is for Wests Tigers as well, just joking about the kicking and screaming Ink but I’m sure you are also a true believer.
-
Yeah, supporting the old clubs brings more harm than good

will allways be a balmain fan, but have no prolem supporting the weststigers, and it has a nice ring to it . so to both boards get over the figthing and lets all pull together as the weststigers for god sake. :bash

Thank you cunno……I was very very distant for the first 2 or 3 years of the merge…attended few games though maintained an interest in the team thru the media.
Was a tough period personally too for other reasons which also contributed to my little interest then.
But since then its just been like a natural evolution…Ive quit smoking and given the booze away so I need something to replace all that - just as damaging to ones health
go the tigers
