I remember the club setting this up a little while ago.
“WestsTigersDeals is an online marketplace that showcases products and services from our excellent club sponsors and supporters and offers great deals from these businesses to our fans and supporters. We feature deals carefully selected from the best stuff to do, see, eat and buy in your area. We get huge discounts you won’t find anywhere else.”
I received an email from them this morning with their latest deals, and among them was a deal for a Vibrator… Probably not a good look for the club, right?
-
A vibrator? How poetic…
-
Yep… Also offering 2 nights in the Hunter. Maybe they’re targeting those looking for a romantic weekend away?
I tweeted it to GM this morning. He replied very promptly saying they’ve sacked the company, effective immediately. Good to see quick action taken.

It’s a shame, probably the only joy some Wests Tigers fans would have got this year…
-
Maybe it was a hint to the players to harden up or they’d be replaced…
Quick response from the club is good.
-
Good to see Mayer acting quickly on this sort of rubbish.

I really don’t see the issue…were they selling a banned/illegal product?..No was it pornography?..no…
It was an adult toy…sent to an adult’s mailbox…no big deal…over reaction in my view…
-
Was it at least in gold, black and white?

Many younger WT members also signed up to the service.
It is why I would assume a content restriction was breached leading to the termination

Apparently the Eels version was just a plain ol’ wooden spoon….now that is rough!
-
Haha and they come in 2013 and 2014 models

Did his reply say: “This club will not be associated with the sale of jellified, wobbly dildos. He still has two years to run on his contract, for a start, and when he’s recovered from his knee reconstruction he will provide crucial utility value to the back line.”
-
For those wondering, it was called the “Passion Wave Rabbit Vibrator” and was purple. Not sure of the range of colours and sizes.

While nothing illegal, it’s something the club probably doesn’t want to be associated with.
