Young gun, Sauso ‘Jesse’ Sue has today pledged his future to the Wests Tigers until the end of 2016. Sue is part of a strong contingent of youth that are coming through the club, having played an integral role in winning the NYC Premiership in 2012.
When discussing the signing Sue said, “It is great to have my future sorted out. I have played for the club since appearing for the Wests Magpies in the Matthews Cup in the U/16’s competition. I am looking forward to the further development in the fulltime squad and thoroughly enjoy coming to work every day with my mates with the aim of being the best I can. We are a young side with good leadership and with additional coaching staff and new players coming to the club, we are looking forward to a big 2014.”
After making 17 appearances in his debut season for the club, Sue is looking forward to the next couple of years under Michael Potter and taking his game to the next level. Jesse averaged 27 tackles a game and ran for over a 1000 metres in his first season.

Great quote. Doesn’t turn up to socialise, turns up to work, because that is what he is paid to do.

Good re-signing move. From what I’ve heard Sue is in a similar vein to woodsy at training in so far as he doesn’t muck around and really pays close attention to the training staff for advice etc. One of many young players I’m looking forward to seeing next season.

Very happy. This kid is gonna be our best forward in a few years

I’m not overly sold on Sue yet, I hope he develops further.

Excellent news , one of our great young players , well done tigers

Great news very impressed with his transition from 20’s to nrl. Will be a real enforcer in years to come. Plays well above his weight.

Really rate this kid. Played lock, back row and Prop this year and never looked out of his depth. Gives away a few penalties but I think that was due to fatigue. Great re-signing.

Great news!
Would no doubt have had a bit of interest from other clubs after his performances in first grade last year. Hopefully he can put on a bit of bulk in the off season as that’s all that seems to be stopping him from becoming a top line first grader.
