Wests Tigers are pleased to announce that Brydens Lawyers are the new naming rights sponsor of the Wests Tigers Academy.
To be known as the Brydens Wests Tigers Academy, the Academy is key step for up-and-coming junior Rugby League players.
The Brydens Wests Tigers Academy will be made up by junior rugby league players from a South-West Academy and Inner-West Academy.
The Academy has been designed to foster children through the Club’s development pathways in both Wests Tigers heartlands, in the South-West and Inner-West.
Wests Tigers CEO Grant Mayer said that Brydens’ involvement was key for the future success of the Club’s Academy.
“Brydens are big supporters of the Wests Tigers and I’d like to thank them for their involvement in this project,” said Mr Mayer. “They’ve recognised the importance of a junior program and have not hesitated at jumping onboard as the major sponsor for the next three seasons.
“The creation of the Wests Tigers Academy is a major step for the Club as we look to develop future NRL players in both the South-West and Inner-West,” he said. “A permanent location of both Academy programs is a high priority with meetings scheduled with political and community leaders in both Campbelltown and Liverpool for a home in the South-West.”
The support of Brydens has been instrumental in the development of the Academy, with Wests Tigers number one ticket holder, Lee Hagipantelis playing a key role.
“It is with enormous pride that my firm, Brydens Lawyers, has affiliated itself with Wests Tigers to become the naming rights sponsor of the Brydens Wests Tigers Academy,” said Mr Hagipantelis. “Brydens Lawyers has long recognised its corporate responsibility to invest in its local community. The Brydens Wests Tigers Academy provides an incredible opportunity for our NRL stars of the future.”
Brydens, as part of their involvement with the Wests Tigers Academy, is also the Club’s partner in the South-West Academy. Lee Hagipantelis joined almost 100 players and their families at Wests Campbelltown on Tuesday night for the annual jersey presentation.
