Best Player - Robbie Farah remains the top Tiger — but his public spat with Gorden Tallis cast a long shadow over his season. So we’re going for Luke Brooks, because of the way he’s handled himself during a torrid time for the joint venture.
Most disappointing player: Chris Lawrence — struggling with injuries, the 25-year-old has failed to reach his prodigious potential which propelled him to Kangaroos rep honours in 2010 and 2011. One of the few senior players at the club, Lawrence has failed to stand up as a leader for the beleaguered Tigers he has played 152 games for.
Surprise packet: Pat Richards — the veteran winger has been a model of class and consistency,
scoring the most tries (9), 54 goals and one field goal and running 2064 metres. Not bad for an old geezer.
