Farah wanted to withdraw from the Dragons match because of stress. I wonder if he will do the same with this squad.

  • Does this say a lot about our roster ??

We have the least amount of players picked so far

  • Yeah I think so but to be fair we have a total of 14 players picked for both senior and junior rep squads (oz, kiwi, Samoa etc)
However it still is probably below the rest in totality.

Titans had two players unavailable due to injury and Nate Myles pulled himself out once his wive’s medical issues became public

Bro I always remembers our Bro’s brah cuzzie 😉

  • not sure if brooks and moses have pulled out through injury but they’d be shoe ins for junior kangaroos surely?

  • How about the size of that squad. It’ll cost them a fortune in tracksuits.

Players as you can see at the bottom of the list are picked and then ruled out with fitness tests or personal reasons

It would be good for say a Moses , Tedesco or Brooks to be named in a train on squad if they are ready

If they weren’t named they weren’t picked

Both have had surgery I heard

    Parra have the least Happy

  • Well then. Some people can’t read. Warriors have the least, we have the same as Parra. Excluding withdrawals we have more than a few sides.

But this needs to be accompanied by data with he Kiwis selected.

Warriors obviously have a lot of NZ internationals, we have 4.

Combine Aus + NZ reps and we’re probably in the middle of the pack. Also 6 junior kiwis and 1 junior kangaroo.

    KANGAROOS FACE PROP CRISIS
    Kangaroos
    October 7, 2014Facebook173Twitter3
Kangaroos coach Tim Sheens is likely to be keeping a close eye on next Sunday’s clash between the PM’s XIII and PNG in Kokopo with five first choice props set to miss the upcoming Four Nations tournament.

Today Sheens announced that Cowboys star Matt Scott will miss the tournament after finding out he needs shoulder surgery. Props Andrew Fifita, James Tamou, Nate Myles and Paul Gallen will also be unavailable.

Sheens says these injuries will ensure that there will be plenty of spots under consideration when the PM’s XIII take on PNG.

“There’s still a number of places up for grabs, based on this game,” says Sheens who will travel to PNG next week.

“I want to get know a lot of these guys off the field so this whole week is part of a building process.”

Starting props Aaron Woods and Josh Papalii will get a chance to show their wares next Sunday, as will bench forwards Brenton Lawrence and Josh McGuire. Other props thought to be in contention for the vacant spots include Dylan Napa, Jacob Lillyman, Aiden Tolman and David Klemmer.

The Kangaroos squad will be announced on Monday, with their Four Nations campaign commencing with a Test against Brisbane on October 25.

    Woods should be there regardless…

    aah fair enough…

    so something like

    1. inglis
    3. hayne
    2,4,5. walker, wighton, crocker, chambers
    6. thurston
    7. cronk
    8. woods
    9. smith
    10. tamou
    11. thaiday
    12. bird
    13. parker

bench: dce, watbro, hoffman, lewis, pappali??

spine and backrow will save the day for us but england will smash us in the forwards i reckon.

a little off topic but did benji get picked in the nz squad?

Tamou is also injured, so I reckon it might be Woods and Lillyman or perhaps Lawrence as starting props.

No Benji didn’t get picked, tig.
