This is the second week we have kept a team off the scoreboard in the first 20 mins the game. We score points and look all over the oposition. Then the 20 minute mark of the game strikes (today - 1st drinks break). Today, like last week we concede 20 points in the last 20 minutes of the first half. It worked out okay last week but we seem to have major problems after the 20 minute mark. Suddenly we start to give away silly penalties, start making mistakes inside our own half and look like we can’t keep up with the oposition.

I could be wrong on this but in both the games we have played we haven’t been able to score a point either 20 mins before or 20 mins after halftime. This is very concerning and a trend that we need to turn around. The Tigers can’t win many games by stopping after 20mins.

Couldn’t agree more, don’t know what the hell it is but if we want to make the 8 it needs to stop now.

All this talk of training hard and big improvements under Folkes, it’s not showing. Hopefully it picks up soon or we will be in trouble.

this year it looks like our depth is much stronger , but so far in two games we have suffered when we do our first interchange ….big red has been killing them … he goes off and the rot starts …get the bench right and we will be a force …

its pretty obvious that the bench we have been carrying the past 2 weeks is not up to the task. ok, there were many new faces there today but when KG goes off our forwards really struggle for good yardage.

Just glad the Roosters didn’t hit 50 points with the momentum they got from our mistakes, yes I thought we were supposed to be one of the fittest sides going round but we were the first side to wilt in the heat.

Surely Skando has one more year left in him.

It was the same last year until Skando came back.

I’m also cranky about these reports that we are one of the fittest sides in the comp. The way they keep switching off suggests that they arent as fit as we are being told.

Roosters werent brilliant today - we still scored 30 odd points….but they really did look far superior physically.

I’m going to say it as clear as I can.

The referees are intentionally influencing games with penalties and interpretations and the 20 minute mark is the point they flick their first switch to allow comebacks to happen. I’ve seen it in every single game. They are woeful at hiding it this year so far.
