NYC Team Announcement: Round 2

NYC Team Announcement: Round 2

Tue 10th March, 05:23PM

Wests Tigers NYC Coach Brett Kimmorley has named his side to take on the St. George-Illawarra Dragons for the Club’s first home game of the year.

Kickoff is scheduled for 4:45pm at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

After a tough opening round loss to the Titans, Wests Tigers will be looking to bounce back with a strong performance against a Dragons side also searching for their first win.

Kimmorley has opted for a similar side to the one that went down against the Titans, with Jaleel Seve-Derbas’ inclusion into the starting side the only change.

2014 NYC Five-Eighth of the Year Te Maire Martin will again captain the team.

Coach: Brett Kimmorley

Hope they have a better showing than round 1. There’s plenty of talent in this outfit but they’re going to have to work hard for one another to realise their potential.

Manly lapped the Eels last week so hopefully our boys will do the same.

Tom Satterthwaite is due back in Round 4. Should easily slot in to replace Murray or Jacobs given their defensive issues on the weekend.

We’re currently up 12-4, with Martin and Levido scoring from grubbers from Levido.

Yep, there’s not much of that happening.

43’— TRY TIME! Brilliant from Cerruto! Picks the ball up on his own line, beats through two and rounds the fullback to score! #NYC #WTLive

44’— Levido converts from next to the posts. We now lead 40-16 following that spectacular 100m try from Mason Cerruto. #NYC #WTLive

50’— TRY TIME! Martin does it all himself down the short side, dummying to his outside man before crashing over! 44-16, KTC. #NYC #WTLive

Geez, I hope they have Martin signed past 2015
