Wests Tigers have announced the squad and schedule for the 2015 Brydens Lawyers Wests Tigers Academy, which will start training this week.

Brydens Lawyers Wests Tigers Academy is a junior development academy designed to develop talent in the Club’s junior representative clubs, Balmain and Western Suburbs.

The Brydens Lawyers Wests Tigers Academy is the pathway for junior league players into the Club’s NYC program, and has been very successful over the years, with Aaron Woods, Curtis Sironen, James Tedesco and David Nofoaluma all going through the Academy.

The Academy is for players aged either 16 or 17 that have played Harold Matthews or SG Ball football that season for either Balmain or Western Suburbs.

Running for six weeks, the Academy program sees them go through one training session at Concord Oval, one session at Leichhardt Oval and one session at Campbelltown Sports Stadium each week with players from their own area.

They also play in three competitive games, with matches scheduled against the Parramatta Eels (June 16), Cronulla Sharks (July 2) and St. George-Illawarra Dragons (July 21).

I would assume Bennett Wheelhouse is Jayden’s younger brother?

Yep pretty sure he is the younger brother of Jayden & Jack

Anyone we should especially keep an eye on ??

Papenhuyzen sure gets good raps!

Adam Rizk is the best prospect IMO. Playing halfback currently, I see him as a fullback long term. Played Nsw 16’s 2 years in a row, very dynamic.

Bennett Wheelhouse is good also.

I didnt see much of the Wests HM this year.

From memory i think i saw on twitter they lost 28-24 with no conversions being taken. We also had a few guys off with the junior NSW team in Melbourne.

@Balmain Boy:

Papenhuyzen sure gets good raps!

Ryan Papenhuyzen and Daniel Peck were selected in the NSW Under 18s team from the Balmain SG Ball. Papenhuyzen plays fullback and Peck is a hooker. Papenhuyzen was the HM player of the year in 2014 with Lattrel Mitchell from the Roosters as the SG Ball player of the year.

@happy tiger:

Anyone we should especially keep an eye on ??

Papenhuyzen for sure
