Taylor happy with the effort for the 80

I’ve been down on Woods the last few weeks but it’s good to see him backing the coach up

That’s exactly how I saw it , we should of won that game , but lost it with a lack of smarts

Can’t see any spin on that , but no doubt others will see it differently

Agree with him 100% …. Effort was there but too many mistakes.

Lol Happy…
You fall for his sweet talking so easily I’m sure if you were female he’d have you on your back, legs in the air in 10 minutes.

no tonight he looked different…totally stressed with breaks between some of his comments.

I feel sorry for Taylor tonight and I have been a critic.

He had them on song defensively. They looked up beat and were matching Easts.

However so many stupid errors and penalties. We went over the sideline early in sets. Richards kick out on the full. Sone shocking passes at the feet.

He is right in saying it was a lot different to the last 4-5 Roosters - Tigers game. We did not get steam rolled we beat ourselves.

I saw some positives tonight on the defensive side of the ball. The rest was really poor and I am glad Taylor was filthy about that.

I thought he was spinning a fair bit of stuff at recent press conferences but tonight i just felt sorry for him. Individuals made terrible errors.

The boys are really low in confidence & it shows. If some of those passes stuck tonight the score would’ve been a lot closer.

Hope they can turn things around to at least bring a bit of confidence into the pre-season.

Yep you summed it up perfectly.

Yes JT our attack looked like the second trial game of the season, because it was when you had us taking the ball up one out and mid field bombing on the 5th for 15 weeks!. Add to this our play makers are down in confidence and form. If only we had a more balanced coaching effort from the start, we might actually be seeing some results where you can smile in the press conference.

Well there is always next week. Robbie will be back to help guide us around.

I agree that we were going okay( except from some crap passes) up to half time, but the moment the big Guys came on we didn’t want to know about stopping them , and they tore us apart.
The effort that was there disappeared.

He’s taken on more than he could chew, unfortunately.

good enough to win? thats going a bit far imo…

having said that, i wasnt really that upset with tonights performance.
