We honestly need to sign some players.
Ava isn’t contracted for 2016 and neither is Brendan Santi.
They could possibly not be here next year?
Also - Lodge seems to be in trouble, who knows what’s going to happen there.
Chris Lawrence has a deal for next year but will he get released over the next few months?
Hard to say…
Pretty much the lock-ins are…
2. Kevin - He’s locked in, but wing or centre?
4. Simona - should be playing wing but who will play inside him?
5. Nofo - He’s on contract but is he alright?
We have also have Akauola, Fine, Cherrington, Dallas Graham, Delouise, Lamar, Seve, and Peni contracted for next year onward but honestly not a lot of experience between em. Some one said Lovett is signing a deal but he’s absolute trash.
I’m finding it hard to name a threatening team with what we currently have.
Michael Che-Kam is on his way, yeah?
Hopefully he can bring young gun Tony Satini with him to play centre for our first grade team.
Our “plodders” might actually have more of an impact with the reduced interchanges next year also.
Wouldn’t mind seeing some fringe players have a chance in the top grade in the remaining rounds to stake a claim for next year, i.e. Fine, Seve, Lodge (again), Akauola, Lamar, Peni, Hoeter (on the wing) etc.
But then again, we want to try & avoid the spoon as much as possible.
next year has to be better.
its probably going to get worse before it gets better- the same rhetoric from jt wont wash much longer.
lawrence may leave, there might be a blowup with robbie- the coach may be sacked, who knows.
continually losing games doesnt sit well with supporters, sponsors, the media and the teams better players. The team cant afford to lose a player like Woods or Brooks due to the teams non performance.
The team needs some hungry young blokes who are better than some of the plodders they have presently.
So theres the club’s challenge on a shoestring budget- the scouts need to discover a les boyd or tim brasher somewhere out there.
and if we lose chris lawrence to another nrl club i will be extremely miffed.
thats what i reckon anyway
