Just a heads-up for anybody that is still a fan of Dene Halatau…

Brad Morrin has been ruled out of today’s match against the Roosters and Dene Halatau has been picked to make his NRL Bulldog’s debut…

Will be interesting to see if he has improved since being at the blue & whites.

Match is on channel 9 at 4.00pm EDST.

I hope he goes well…I think his style will suit the dogs.

Good luck to him. Always gave his best for the tigers and was instrumental in the 05 finals series. However both dene and the tigers needed a change. Hopefully he still has a great career in the NRL

                    Nothing has changed.

The dogs have no depth and 2009 was a fluke.

They will be shown as the pretenders they are in the next few weeks… Onyone else would have scored 100 against the Rorters on Sunday.

                        Get better soon Dene…

slightly OT, but did anyone watch the sharks game last night?

Morris’ poor attacking options and Collis slipping over as he ran at the line just made me again appreciate how much better a squad we have now since dropping this “deadwood”.
However Flanno was looking good for the sharks - he was the only one out there that looked like breaking through the bunnies.

I watched to the end only so I could be amused by the press conference.

Souths are dead set ordinary but the Sharks are terrible.

Flanno is a better halves option than Barrett, Morris or Porter to couple with Tim Smith

                              Flano 9
                              Smith 7
                              Kelly 6
                              Barrett 1
                              Morris 14

& then they might actually win one game this season. Otherwise they’ll be lucky not to go through and lose every game this season.

Don’t they have Paul Aiton. He’s pretty good from memory.
