NYC Team Announcement: Round 23

Wests Tigers NYC Holden Cup Coach Brett Kimmorley has named his side to take on the Newcastle Knights in their Round 23 clash on Saturday, August 15.

Kickoff for the match is scheduled for 10:30am at Campbelltown Sports Stadium as Wests Tigers look to keep their finals hopes alive with a much-needed two points.

After going down in heartbreaking fashion to the Canberra Raiders 36-34 on Monday night in the nation’s capital, Kimmorley has named a near-identical side for Saturday’s match, with the likes of Te Maire Martin, Junior Tatola and Matt Lodge all included.

However, after scoring what looked to be the equalising try on Monday, winger Tom Satterthwaite has been ruled out of the match with a knee injury in the only change.

He will be replaced on the wing by Jayden Wheelhouse.

Damn the stream that I had disappeared. Anyone?

Beautiful ball from Martin lays on the firt try

Nice cut out ball from te maire again. Puts Seve in a gap

Martin throws a horrible pass and the tigers score

Bomb from Martin and Kharwin takes a ripper and scores

It’s a dead set carve up…

Martin inside ball and Felise is over
Martin had a hand in all the tries
Dont worry we got Littlejohn next year

defence from both sides is rubbish

28-10 after Newcastle score after throwing it off the ground…

The defence in this level is a joke.

No try penalty…

It’s so strange how sides can just turn to water when they get in front at this level.

And the standard of refereeing is just as bad.

Benji’s brother isn’t much chop.
