2015 Wooden Spoon Contenders

Quite a few contenders this year;

Panthers bristle at wooden spoon chance

They’re two points away from the bottom of the ladder, but Penrith have bristled at the possibility of being handed the wooden spoon at the end of the NRL season. The Panthers have spiralled down the competition table after falling to their fifth straight defeat last weekend, their longest losing streak of the year. And now, less than 12 months after almost reaching the grand final, the struggling side is now in serious contention for some unwanted “silverware”.

No wonder Gus has been a bit quiet this year….so much for his big 5 Year Plan that he was crapping on about for the last couple of seasons.

WESTS Tigers won’t get the wooden spoon….they are to good a team and club,and are not deserving of it…!!!

They’ve had a lot of injuries but Gus seems obsessed with project players and getting results from players who’ve failed at other clubs.

Both their halves have spent a third of the season in the rehab ward. Moylan out since round 12. Enough to throw anyone’s season into a tailspin.

Yep this was us in 2013

That’s what we are doing.

Aware of that. However we haven’t gone on huge spending sprees to bolster our club like the Panthers have in the last couple of seasons, he was envisioning and spruiking the Panthers were going to be a huge monolith that dominated the West for years to come. Not having a go at him or the club for their high goals but he would be feeling a bit down in the arse ATM I would think. They have got enough quality players in their club to be going much better than what they are currently.
