2016 NSW Cup team?

I think it’ll look something like this….

1. Justin Hunt
2. Nathan Milone
3. Watson Heleta
4. Marion Seve
5. Chance Peni

6. Jack Littlejohn
7. Josh Drinkwater

[ Depends how the first grade team plays out. Addo-Carr is looking like a first grade prospect and Rankin would look really good in the centres but at the end of the day, our depth is looking really good. Simona & Nofo are first grade starters but the other centre and wing position looks up for grabs. So we could see Naiqama, Addo-Carr or even Chee-Kam or some under 20’s graduate, such as Kharwin, Satterthwaite, Wheelhouse or Jacobs finding their way into that backline. ]

8. Dallas Graham
9. Matt Ballin
10. Jack Buchanan

11. Lamar Liolevave
12. Kyle Lovett
13. Tyler Cassel

[ Can’t see Kyle Lovett squeezing into a full strength first grade team so back to NSW Cup for him. By all reports Tyler Cassel is an absolute machine. We have LOTS of competition for both first grade and NSW cup but I think this will be the starting line up. Keep an eye out for Jacob Liddle getting some game time in NSW Cup either at #9 or off the bench this year. ]

14. Josh Aloiai
15. Billy McConnachie
16. Jordan Grant
17. Asipeli Fine

[ There could be some guys I think will make the first grade 17 that won’t that will slot right into the NSW Cup team. Guys like - Rod Griffin, Jesse Parahi, etc… Cherrington might miss out and play the year in NSW Cup but who knows. All I know is our depth is looking solid with hopefully a few more signings to come! ]

Thoughts?

That looks like a highly likely side to me though i can see Rod Griffin starting from NSW Cup and brought in to 1st grade after a little while. I don’t know who will get the wing spot in 1st grade but would be happy to see either Kharwin or Add-Carr get a crack. Who’s coaching NSW Cup this year?

Either Rankin or Auddo Carr will be in there, can’t see Naiqama losing his spot round 1.

What a side, really good state cup side.

Are you suggesting that Griffin won’t make our Top 34 ……

No he’s saying he thinks Griffin might make the top 17, but if not he’ll slot straight into the NSW Cup side…

11. Curtis Sironen
12. Chris Lawrence
13. Dene Halatau

14. Matt Ballin
15. Joel Edwards
16. Michael Chee Kam
17. Ava Seumanufagai

Then the State Cup side could look something like this?

1. Jordan Rankin
2. Marion Seve
3. Chance Peni
4. Nathan Milone
5. Josh Addo-Carr
6. Jack Littlejohn
7. Josh Drinkwater
8. Jack Buchanan

10. Billy McConnachie
11. Asipeli Fine
12. Kyle Lovett
13. Lamar Liolevave

14. Rod Griffin
15. Jesse Parahi
16. Jacob Liddle
17. Josh Aloiai

Not Included in top 34
Jordan Grant
Wesley Lolo
Andy Fiagatusa
Other NYC Players

Doesn’t look too bad in my opinion

Also forgot Dallas Graham^

pretty tough to predict these things, as we all know, over both grades there is always half a dozen or so missing at any point in time.

But at full strength we look pretty good in NSW cup

I will be very upset if I see Griffin on the bench for reggies

Won’t be surprised if he is on the bench for NRL

As Tiger Torch said the bloke has an unending motor and good footwork at the line

He just needs to make up for his lack of size (Height )

Not that short! He is 1.87cm!!

Thats tall enough!

@ghost:

Wouldn’t have thought he was 3.5 inches taller than me Ghost but could be wrong

What’s the go with bringing an Imperial measurement into a metric conversation Happy, particularly as you were born a few years after we adopted the new system?
