Tedesco named in Emerging Blues

Wests Tigers fullback James Tedesco has been named among a list of 17 NRL prospects in NSW VB Blues coach Laurie Daley’s 2016 Emerging Blues camp.

The talented squad will come together at ANZ Stadium on Saturday, January 16 at a camp designed to provide players with an insight into what it takes to play State of Origin for New South Wales.

“These guys are players who are obviously very talented and we believe they have the potential to be Origin players,” Daley said. “It’s nice for them to be able to come into our environment and see how we go about things.

“Hopefully they will get something out of the camp and it makes them more determined to be a part of the 2016 Holden State of Origin series.”

The one-day camp covers a number of aspects including physical and mental preparation as well as team culture.

“The camp will give these players an indication of what we are all about,” Daley said.

“If they make the side it helps them walk into an environment they are somewhat familiar with – so when they arrive in camp they know what we do and how we go about it

Some talent in the emerging Blues…Tedesco is certainly not out of place in this group…enjoy the experience Teddy…

Being purely selfish of course but now I will have more to worry about re possible future injuries to our star.

If new are fair dinkum most of this list should be in the main team. What have we got to lose?

deserves the opportunity…. definitely one of our shining lights…Well Done Teddy!!!

Just how it should be…
He was one of the standout players of 2015 across the comp and defo one of the best fullbacks kickin it.

I can see Teddy playing on the wing for the blues in the future.

Why? Teddy is a much better Full back, Moylan will end up as a 5/8 imo.

I think Moylan is a better prospect at 6….I hav made a few changes to daleys backline

My backline:
Teddy
B Morris
Dugan
Roberts/wighton
Mansour
Moylan
Reynolds

Teddy at 1 and Moylan at 6 would cause all sorts of problems for the banana benders but we still need a top quality 7 to match Cronk, DCE et al. Pearce doesn’t seem to be the answer, talented though he is.

Madness. He’s a better fullback than Dugan.

Teddy would prefer to be a Qlder
