The bad news just never ends. Stevie Wright, Lemmy from Motorhead, Bowie and now Glenn Frey all gone in the last month or so. RIP

glen frey and don henley were two great song and music writers.

Yes - I was at that one too. Remember saying how well I thought he and Don Henley looked. Thankful I got to see them - the Eagles without Glenn Frey just not the same.

Sad indeed…R.I.P.

Even more room at the Hotel California…

RIP Glenn.
Thank you for the great music you have given us over the years.

Gee they are getting together a very impressive band in rock-n-roll heaven.

Don’t forget Stevie Wright.
5 in 6 weeks is just terrible.
RIP legend.

Is January the cursed Month for Rock Stars?.
Spent the arvo listening to a boxed remastered set I purchased a little over a year ago and in the process of moving house hadn’t listened to, Take It Easy Glenn……

I saw the Eagles on their first tour of Australia, at the Hordern Pavilion, I think it was about 1970. That day was a Saturday and they played a matinee and an evening show. I attended the matinee. When they played ‘Desperado’, as the song came to an end, a woman in about the fifth row called out: ‘Play it again’. Glenn Frey casually leant into the microphone and said: ‘We’ll be playing it again in about two hours, lady!’

I thought that was a good comeback. RIP.

R.I.P Glen. 😦 Your music lives on!

There would be some absolute superbands in Heaven and Hell these days
