  • Where is the Lilyfield light rail stop?

  • The clappers are a good idea

I reckon every Leicester City FC fan has one and they don’t stop using them every game

  • Great to see a bigger focus on the game-day experience

    BUT

    The best junior buskers?!

And the ‘stars’ from Here come the Habibs should have been saved for the doggies home game

  • @innsaneink:

Where is the Lilyfield light rail stop?

Under the bridge that connects Lillyfield rd and City West link. If you know the Orange grove Pub it’s about 1/2 km South…maybe a bit less.

Although I thought there was a light rail station at the end of Mary street that is a lot closer to the spiritual home of Rugby League

    Anything’s better than blowing bubbles
    :roll

  • Being a public holiday in Melbourne, I can sneak up and be there.
Can’t wait to see the old girl again.

  • Yeah I would have thought the ‘Leichhardt North’ light rail stop would be closer than Lilyfield – it’s at the very end of Norton Street.

depends on whether you’re hitting up the Orange Grove Hotel first I guess

Hoping the Light Rail will still be running when the game finishes but I doubt it for some reason.

if it takes you 10 minutes to walk from the bus stop to the ground I recommend seeing a doctor or a mortician.

  • HOLD THE PHONE

Light rail website says it’s operating until 2300!

that’s time to get into the casino and back out before bedtime!

  • Administrators

I love catching the light rail now

    it really is very good!

  • I must go for a ride on this one day……have only seen it in the city but have been meaning to check it right out.
Not as close to the ground as I pictured…how does it cope with a heap of fans arriving at the stops after the game?
    Are the services fairly frequent?

  • According to the Light Rail Website: http://www.transport.nsw.gov.au/customers/lightrail

Its an average of ten minutes waiting time at Metro Light Rail stops.

Soo they come frequently… Which is good, it’s a good service I myself have caught it number of times and its reliable and not to expensive to catch… Might even be free if you pre purchase your tickets… Also if they are doing a march to the game from the station or theme walk gives more of a reason to come and enjoy our team play! :sign:
