Wests Tigers are pleased to announce that the Club has surpassed its 2015 final Membership number before Round 2 this year.

Wests Tigers currently have 9,346 Members, four ahead of the final count last year.

With the team not taking to the field in Round 2 until Monday night the Club is calling on supporters to sign up and help get the number to 10,000 ahead of the clash with the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at Leichhardt Oval.

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe thanked those who had already committed to the Club for the 2016 season.

“On behalf of everyone at the Club I’d like to thank the 9,346 supporters who have shown their commitment to Wests Tigers by signing up as a Member for this year,” said Pascoe. "The momentum has been steadily building over the last few weeks, with Saturday’s opening round win certainly helping to grow the Membership base.

“I call on supporters who may still be holding off from signing up to get onboard and help us reach the 10,000 mark ahead of Monday’s game,” he said. "We’ve made positive changes across the organisation and with the support of our Members we’ll continue to build a Club that will be a force both on and off the field.

“We understand that we have to win back the trust of all of our stakeholders, including our Members and this will only be done through hard work,” said Pascoe. “While it’s nice to have already surpassed last year’s number this is a journey that is just beginning.”

Wests Tigers have Membership packages available to suit all budgets, with packages available for all grounds, or just your favourite.

This season Wests Tigers have introduced a range of off-field activities at every game to provide entertainment before kick off.

The Club is working hard to provide additional experiences for attendees at every game across the 2016 season.

At Round 2 the Club will be celebrating the role that junior Rugby League plays in the game before the NRL side takes on the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in a Monday night showdown at Leichhardt Oval.

To add to the atmosphere there will be a number of musicians playing around the venue, along with a dedicated kids zone.

This kicked off with a bang, both on and off the field, on Saturday, with the Club holding a Multicultural day at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

Numerous cultural activities and displays were held in the forecourt before a special on field performance, followed by a thrilling Wests Tigers 34-26 victory over the New Zealand Warriors.

1 win does wonders wow…

I want to say a big congratualtions to Justin Pascoe. He has really impressed since being in the job.

Firstly with all the promotion around individual rounds and entertainment, kids zones, etc a fantastic effort to make it a real experience.

Given the controversy of our off-season, given where we have finished for 4 years in a row now and that many have tipped us bottom 3 to increase membership numbers is a massive effort

Well Done Mr Pascoe

It just shows what effect a big win and a positive outlook from Tigers management, players and coaching staff has on fans. Another very important contributor is the new stability brought about due to a lack of infighting between coach and one particular player.

Call me a Negative Nelly, but how many of those were the “one-game” memberships from last week? Surely they don’t really count.

The win and the style of football played last week would have attracted some punters back.

If fans know they are going to be entertained they are more likely to flood back through the gates.

Same with any sport.

Did Rover ,Kitty , Defa ,Cefa , Fido ,Digger and Woofy get included in membership counts ??

@Masterton:

I think they do….though its stretching a long bow I know.
I got two, despite deciding not to renew this year, we were going to the game anyhow and I thought if it helps them fudge some figures …well why not. Same price as a GA ticket I think

All clubs count such memberships. Souths’ record membership are mainly comprised of non-game memberships, from memory.

Exactly plus all the tickets souths sell to their game in Perth are almost all 1 game memberships in the same way. So given its a comparison and others do it i’m ok with it

Oh, well. I didn’t realise that. Fair’s fair then.

Wests Tigers are pleased to announce that the Club has surpassed 10,000 Members for the 2016 NRL season.

The 10,000th Member was announced at Leichhardt Oval in the lead-up to last night’s 36-22 victory over Manly-Warringah.

Senior Constable Luke Warburton and his family were presented with an honorary ‘Family Membership’ on-field– taking the Club’s Member count to over 10,000.

Senior Constable Warburton is a huge Wests Tigers fan and was invited to attend training last Friday after an incident in January where he was shot in the upper leg while on duty.

The announcement comes on the back of the Club surpassing the 2015 Membership total of 9346, with the current total now at 10,006 Members.

Plenty of great Membership packages are still on offer, with the Club’s next home game in Round 4 against the Parramatta Eels in the annual Easter Monday blockbuster.

ANZ Stadium packages start at just $84 for an Adult, which includes access to all four Wests Tigers home games at the ground and reciprocal entry to nominated away matches.

We just giving them away…Well done on reaching 10K Wests Tigers…

This is great news,

I feel compelled to be a member. The AFL supporters down Mexico way all have ingrained in them that there is a partnership between the club and its supporters.

Is there a package where I can contribute that isn’t necessarily tied to Game attendance.

With a family of 7 it is still hard to go to the games and even harder to leave the younger kids at home.

Hit the 10k mark at the earliest point in a season in the clubs history

Good stuff!!

Its good, but sorry milky, incorrect
