What's in this weeks Big League ( Wests Tigers related )

Locker Room ( page 14 )

Wests Tigers Coach Jason Taylor would love to retain young halves Luke Brooks and Mitch Moses, but this might not be reality . The Wests Tigers are already in a delicate position with the Salary Cap and if they re-sign both halves on big dollars, they’ll risk losing a number of other stars .
The Club has many big-names off-contract in the next two Seasons, including James Tedesco , Aaron Woods and veteran hooker Robbie Farah . It’s why they’re working hard to try and develop a plan with their cap moving forward.
Watch for the Club to part ways with a number of their older players as they look to the future.

This is the one i’m proud of 😃

Our game preview by David Middleton

The Titans competed well at AAMI park before Melbourne turned the screws in the final 20 minutes . Wests Tigers produced the most impressive attacking display of the Weekend when they blitzed Manly last Monday night but their defensive frailities were easily exposed.

The Titans hold a narrow lead in head-to-head results since 2007, however the ledger is square at Cbus Super Stadium. The Wests Tigers have emerged with the points from their last two trips north , scoring a 42-12 win in 2014 and a 19-18 golden point victory last year.

Step aside Billy, Cam , and Coop, the three-pronged attacking threat of Luke Brooks, Mitchell Moses and James Tedesco is shaping as the game’s new ’ Big three '. If the trio can build on Monday night’s performance against the Sea Eagles , Wests Tigers will shoot into finals reckoning.

Wests Tigers should be too slick for the home outfit and are capable of another win by 13+ points.

Look to James Tedesco , Kevin Naiqama or David Nofoaluma for First Tryscorer.

But we still love the guy ha ha ha

To be honest i’m not so worried about the number of missed tackles from Moses, it’s how noticeable they are. One from Monday he came racing out of the line, got stepped and got easily shrugged off but we had 2-3 other players there to complete the tackle straight away in any case. It’s unnecessary perhaps, but he was trying to put pressure on the opposition and the team didn’t suffer as a result.

It’s the missed tackles that lead to line breaks which are the troublesome ones. Yes he did miss one last week but only the one really stood out.

Most try assists in the NRL and still getting bagged.

Excellent work by Moses. No doubt if he continues on his way he will be one of our best ever.
