Farah

Few things -

  • looked short of a run, match fitness will obviously come in time
  • defence was great through the middle, flawless.
  • running game was pretty handy
  • kicking game very solid
  • passing - absolutely terrible. Our first receivers were jumping to catch passes far too often, our halves were under loads of pressure (particularly in the opposition 20), and we even had Jesse Sue putting in a kick.

I can kinda understand where JT was coming from re: not starting him, but at the same time it was lunacy to have both him and Cherrington on the bench in the 17.

His passing was terrible.

I have been a huge fan over the years but if he is going to dish up that service then were going to struggle.

Played his ring out as usual and tackled everything that moved. Still has a good football brain and would add experience to the side.

But yeah, his passing game sucked today.

Bitter pill to swallow but you know it will make you feel better

That’s how I feel about Sir Robbie Farah
Great servant of the club, cant expect miracles from him first game back in a month

first week back, a little rusty give him a break. He will get better. still our best option

Agree

I was ultra excited to have Robbie back but his passing game was terrible today, what about the shocker on the last that went a mile infront of brooks and sue ended up having to kick lol

Defensively he was good.

But we were twice as dangerous when Cherrington came on. Cherry was patient, varied his passes and got the forwards on the front foot. His passes were light and on the chest.

As noted, Farah’s distribution was… borderline shocking, don’t know if I’ve seen so many poor passes. Not that Moses didn’t throw a bunch out the back, but I saw so many replays of the halves getting crunched or super heat from defence after having to jump to catch a pass. Nope.

From the depth we had in attack the 1st 3 weeks it has dried up big time…sick of the flat at the line rubbish and sideways skips dished up today…

Farah tried his ring out …tackled himself to a standstill as usual but the service was poor and attack was stifled …hopefully it’s just rust…he is the best 9 we have…if that’s as good as it gets…we are stuffed…

How long till origin? Will then be able to leave him out without controversy.
